The Suitcase of Childhood
There is an old suitcase filled with adorable animal costumes.
"Pop!"
The moon rises, and Heyme picks up one of the little hoods and slips it on.
In an instant, they're back in the Valley of Childhood Wonder.
There live Bear Dada, Puff the Elephant, Little Chick, Mischief Monkey, and many more tiny animal friends—each one soft, round, and full of joy.
Heyme puts on the Lion King's hood, and together they chase their tails, roll down grassy hills, and laugh until the moon turns into one giant candy drop.
A sleepy yawn escapes.
The little hood gently slips away...
And suddenly, Heyme is back beneath a warm blanket.
The animal hoods rest quietly beside the pillow.
With a smile, Heyme drifts peacefully to sleep.
